9.6 million votes counted under PR category
As per the vote count till Tuesday morning, the CPN (UML) has received the highest of 2,593,466 votes followed by the Nepali Congress with 2,455,303 votes.
KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Vote count under the proportional representation (PR) under the elections of the House of Representatives and the Province Assembly is ongoing. The elections were held on November 20.
According to the Election Commission, a total of 9,602,576 votes have been counted so far. As per the vote count till Tuesday morning, the CPN (UML) has received 2,593,466 votes followed by the Nepali Congress with 2,455,303 votes.
Similarly, the CPN (Maoist Centre) has got 1,104,833 votes while the Rastriya Swatantra Party has got 1,074,196, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has collected 552,874, the Janata Samajbadi Party has garnered 358,922 and the Janamant Party has got 301,620.
Likewise, the CPN (Unified Socialist) has garnered 265,547 votes, the Nagarik Unmukti Party has got 245,305, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party has got 138,408, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party has got 73,169, Hamro Nepali Party has got 53,352, Mangol National Organisation has got 46,501 and Rastriya Janamorcha has got 45,305 votes.
