Govt decides to promote three DIGs to the post of IG

KATHMANDU, March 31: A Cabinet meeting held earlier on Thursday morning has decided to promote three Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) to the post of Inspector Generals (IGs).
Earlier, the promotion committee-led by Tek Narayan Pandey, secretary of Home Ministry, had recommended the government to promote DIGs Dhiraj Pratap Singh, Basanta Panta and Rabindra Bahadur Dhanuk to the post of IGs.
