Govt decides to remove age limit in SEE

KATHMANDU, March 10: The government has decided to remove the age limit in attending Secondary Education Examinations (SEE).

Earlier, it was mandatory for students to be 14 years old in order to attend the examination.

According to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, from now onwards the age limit will only be applicable in board examinations of grade 12 only.

“The government has scrapped the age limit in SEE,” said Dipak Sharma, spokesperson for the Education Ministry.

The SEE is scheduled to be conducted from April 22.
