Three MC's leaders register note of dissent on party's decision to endorse MCC compact
KATHMANDU, March 7: Three leaders of the CPN (Maoist Center), Dev Gurung, Lilamani Pokhrel and Krishna Bahadur Mahara, registered a note of dissent on the party’s decision to endorse the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)-Nepal compact.
Chairman of the party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, informed the party about the note of dissent in the central committee meeting held on Monday.
“The party will find a solution to the issue through a broad discussion,” said party’s chair Dahal.
Earlier, the CPN (Maoist Center) supported the government to ratify the MCC compact with an interpretive declaration which has created a row among leaders of the party.
