Tenure of 20 NA lawmakers expiring on Friday
KATHMANDU, March 4: Tenure of 20 members of the National Assembly (NA) is expiring on Friday.
These lawmakers were elected for a tenure of four years through a lottery system after the election.
The outgoing lawmakers include Agam Prasad Bantawa Rai, Kabita Bogati, Komal Oli, Chakra Prasad Snehi, Nainkala Oja, Parshuram Meghi Gurung, Ram Lakhan Chamar and Suman Raj Pyakurel of the CPN-UML.
Likewise, tenure of Nepali Congress lawmakers, Hagnaeayan Pandey, Tara Devi Bhatta and Radhe Shyam Adhikari and CPN (Maoist Center) lawmakers, Khim Kumar BK, Jeevan Buda, Dinanath Sharma and Sashikala Dahal is also expiring on the same day.
Similarly, tenure of CPN (Unified Socialist)’s lawmakers Udaya Sharma Poudel, Thagendra Prakash Puri, Shanti Kumari Adhikari and Sher Bahadur Kuwar along with Ram Narayan Bidari, who was nominated as a member of NA, is also expiring on Friday.
