14 die as Nepal records 1,128 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday

KATHMANDU, Feb 11: 14 people succumbed to COVID-19 in Nepal on Friday.

According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 1,128 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were recorded across the country on Friday through 20,989 tests conducted.

Similarly, as many as 2,215 COVID-19 patients recovered from the disease on the same day, according to the MoHP.

There are currently 27,441 active cases of COVID-19 across the country as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, as many as 145,265 people received COVID-19 vaccine in the country on Friday.
