COVID-19 booster dose for all Nepalese, vaccine to minors aged between 5 to 11: Health Minister

KATHMANDU, Feb 9: Birod Kathiwada, Minister of Health and Population (MoHP), has maintained that the government will soon administer COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine to minors aged between 5 to 11.

Minister Kathiwada also vowed to inoculate COVID-19 booster dose to all the eligible Nepali citizens.

Receiving a memorandum from representatives of a student union close to CPN (Unified Socialist) on Wednesday, Minister Kathiwada also maintained to avoid vaccine shortage.

“Vaccination centers have been set up at schools to inoculate vaccinations to the eligible population including students,’ Minister Kathiwada further maintained.
