COVID-19:  14 die, 3,175 test positive

KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Fourteen more people died of coronavirus disease in the country on Thursday. This takes the death toll to 11,778..

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 3,175 new infections were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. This was revealed in 12,605 samples tested through RT-PCR and antigen methods.

Also during the same period, 8,723 people recovered. So far, 887,443 people have recovered with the recovery rate standing at 92.2 percent. There are still 63,296 active cases in the country. 

Meanwhile, 266,540 people received the COVID-19 vaccine through various vaccination centers in different parts of the country today.
