554,566 people jabbed against COVID-19 on Thursday alone

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: As many as 554,566 people received vaccines against COVID-19 on Thursday. 

With Thursday’s vaccinations, the total number of people receiving at least one dose of the vaccines has reached 16,458,475. As many as 13,734,390 people, on the other hand, have been fully vaccinated as of Thursday afternoon. 

Nepal had begun the vaccination campaign just a year ago on January 27, 2021. 

Similarly, 282,724 people have so far received additional jabs since the country started offering booster doses on January 17.
