PABSON urges govt to let schools resume classes from Feb 6

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: The Public and Boarding School Organization Nepal (PABSON) has urged the government to allow schools to operate their classes from February 6.

The central working committee of PABSON called on the Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Devendra Poudel and urged him to let schools resume classes from February 6.

“We have urged the government to allow schools to resume physical classes for vaccinated students on a shift basis,” Tika Ram Puri, Chairman of PABSON told Ratopati.

The organization has also demanded vaccination campaigns for students aged between 12 to 17 by next week and make necessary arrangements to provide vaccines to students aged between five to eleven, according to Chairman Puri. “We also urged the government to provide COVID-19 booster doses to teachers and school officials.”
