NC’s Panta, MC’s Sunar elected NA members from Gandaki Province
KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Kamala Panta of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has been elected as a member of the National Assembly (NA) from Gandaki Province.
Panta, who contested the election as a common candidate of the ruling alliance, secured a total of votes as much equal to the weightage of 3,084. Her nearest contender Lila Thaten of CPN-UML secured votes weighing 2,724.
Likewise, Bhuvan Sunar of CPN (Maoist Center) has also been elected as a member of the NA from Gandaki Province. Sunar secured 3,030 vote weightage.
