Creative program for students’ capacity building in Ramechhap

RAMECHHAP: Warm clothes and educational materials were distributed to the students of Shree Devishwar Basic School at  Balakhi of Umakunda Rural Municipality in Ramechhap district. 

Chandra Khati, the principal of the school, said that K Foundation Global organized a two-day program to enhance the creative and artistic abilities of the children targeting the students studying from class 1 to 5 in the school

"The foundation provided students with a platform for the practice of creative activities in rural schools," he said. He also added that the students were inspired by the help of K Foundation Global.

Chairman of the foundation, Saurabh Rimal, said that the foundation has been helping in the development of the quality of the education sector by giving priority to drawing and dance in the school libraries of remote areas. 

"We have distributed warm clothes in the school and also taught drawing to the students.”

He also said that teachers will be trained to teach drawing and dance in the near future.

Navneet Koirala, the founding president of K Foundation Global said that in addition to teaching students in rural schools, the emphasis was on drawing and dance. Koirala said that his aim was to guide the children on the basis of their areas of interest.
