PM Deuba urges authorities concerned to expedite preparations for elections (with full speech)

KATHMANDU, Jan 21: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged authorities concerned to expedite preparations for the elections of different tiers of government. 

Addressing the nation on Friday, Prime Minister Deuba said that the government holds the responsibility to conduct the elections of three tiers of governments in the period of a year. 

PM Deuba said that the government has laid an emphasis on strengthening the provincial and local level government. 

During his televised address, PM Deuba also said that the priority has been given to the implementation of the agreements reached with various groups,  ensuring peace and order and implementation of the constitution.
