Five companies granted permission to issue IPOs
KATHMANDU, Jan 20: After a hiatus of five months, as many as five companies are issuing their Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) to the general public soon.
For the past five months, no companies were permitted to issue IPOs by the Securities Board, Nepal SEBON.
According to Deepa Dahal, spokesperson for SEBON, a meeting of the board held on Tuesday decided to give permission to five companies to issue IPOs to the general public.
The companies permitted to issue IPOs are Green Bench, Balefi Hydropower, Jalpa Community Laghubitta, Rashtriya Utthan Laghubitta and NESDO Sambridha Laghubitta.
The Green Bench has been granted permission to issue 6,250,000 units of IPOs to the local and the general public.
