22-year-old man arrested on charge of raping a girl with disabilities

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Police on Monday arrested a young man on the charge of raping a girl with disabilities.
The arrestee has been identified as Surendra Rishidev, 22, a resident of Sunbarshi Municipality-7 in Morang district.
Rishidev has been accused of raping a 17-year girl with physical and speech disabilities on Wednesday, last week.
According to DSP Manjeel Mukarung, the accused raped the girl after finding her alone at her home.
Moran Police is preparing to present Rishidev before the court on Thursday for the extension of the detention period.
