329 candidates file candidacy for 301 UML CC membership position

CHITWAN: As many as 329 candidates have filed their candidacy for the position of CPN-UML’s central committee member.
According to the party statute, 301 candidates will be elected as the party’s central committee members.
As an attempt to elect the new leadership through a consensus, party Chairman Oli proposed a 301-member central committee earlier on Monday morning.
The main opposition CPN-UML has been holding its Tenth General Convention since Friday.
