Kamal Thapa announces candidacy for RPP Chair

KATHMANDU: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has announced his candidacy for the position of party chairman for another term.
Thapa’s announcement comes a couple of days ahead of the scheduled general convention of the party to be held in Kathmandu from Wednesday.
He announced his candidacy amidst an event organized in the capital on Monday and committed to safeguarding party unity.
RPP’s general secretary and a member of the Lower House of parliament, Rajendra Lingden has also announced to contest for the position.
