National wrestler Bhatta expires
MAHENDRANAGAR, September 9: Suresh Bhatta, a national wrestling player, has passed away. He was 20. Bhatta died while asleep at his house at Bhimdatta Municipality-4 on Wednesday night. He had represented the Sudurpaschim Province in the 8th National Games.
"We found him in a very weak condition after he did not wake up when we tried to wake him up in today morning. I rushed him to the Mahakali Hospital. There were no signs of illness. The doctors declared him dead on arrival," said the deceased's father Khadka Bhatta.
Suresh had filled up and registered an application form for post of Constable at the Armed Police Force (APF)'s Baidyanath Brigade on Wednesday.
Kanchanpur's wrestling coach Rajendra Chand said the country's wrestling sector has lost a promising player in Suresh's demise.
