Ruling alliance’s meeting underway, to discuss Cabinet expansion
KATHMANDU, July 28: Parties affiliated to the ruling alliance are holding a meeting at the official residence of prime minister in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.
According to Bhanu Deuba, an aide to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, the meeting began earlier at 9 AM.
Top leaders of the ruling alliance have joined the meeting which is to discuss various matters including the expansion of the Deuba-led Cabinet.
Though Deuba was appointed the prime minister on July 13, his Cabinet is yet to get the full-fledged shape. The Cabinet has only six members including two ministers each from the Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Center) and a minister of state from the NC.
