In pictures: Unity Convention of Revolutionary Communist Party commences

Kathmandu, November 28 — The National Unity Convention of the Revolutionary Communist Party has begun in Kathmandu.

At noon, participants gathered at Shanti Batika and, with a procession, reached the Bhugol Park at New Road, where the rally turned into a public gathering.

The convention, which will run until December 8, will hold a closed session where party president Mohan Baidhya will present political and organizational reports for discussion. After amendments, these will be passed.

The convention is expected to be attended by around 350 delegates from across the country.
