PPA renewed
Kathmandu - Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has renewed the power purchase agreement (PPA) with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) of India.
A high Nepali officials and Nigam officials signed the agreement in this regard in New Delhi on Friday. The agreement would last till December 32, 2017.
NEA Spokesperson Prabal Adhikari told the RSS from New Delhi that another agreement would again be signed after that.
A total of 160 MW power would be imported from Dhalkebar- Muzaffarpur Transmission Line as per the agreement.
Managing Director of NEA, Kulman Ghising, and NVVN Chief Executive Officer Arun Kumar Garg signed the agreement, said Spokesperson Adhikari. NVVN is India's 'Nodal Agency' to provide power in Nepal.
