Locals face trouble for no bridge over Tinau

Rampur - Local people are facing troubles for no bridge over the Tinau rivulet along the road section that connects Palpa headquarters Tansen to east-southern villages of the district. 

Thousands of local people have come across difficulties in their movements when there is no bridge over the Tinau rivulet on the road stretch linking Tansen, Rupandehi and Nawalparasi districts. 

It has been 20 years since the road was constructed here but the bridge construction is yet to be materialized. 

Suresh Kumar Bhattarai, a local, shared that it has been very difficult for the locals to cross the rivulet mainly during the rainy season. 

There is still compulsion for the local people to cross the rivulet by taking high risks. 

Vehicle drivers also said that they are facing tough time while crossing the rivulet even during minor increase in the flow of water. Though the field survey was carried out for the construction of motor able bridge along the road, the construction works here have not yet begun.
