Road accident leaves 14 killed in SW Pakistan

Fourteen people were killed and nine others injured when a passenger bus turned turtle in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province on Tuesday morning, local media reported.

The bus was on its way to the country's southern port city of Karachi when it met the accident on the main highway due to poor visibility caused by an early morning fog, the reports added.

The injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital where several of them are said to be in critical condition.

The bodies including four women and five kids were handed over to relatives after identification. The accident disrupted road traffic, before rescue and police teams removed the wreckage of the bus from the road to restore the traffic.
