Sandeep Lamichhane to play in Big Bash League

Kathmandu - Nepai national leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane is leaving for Australia to play in the Big Bash League (BBL). He is scheduled to fly to the country this Tuesday. This will be the third time that Lamichhane is playing in the BBL, which is holding its 10th edition. This season he is representing the Hobart Hurricanes. Prior to this, he played two seasons from Melbourne Stars.

However, he will be able to join his team only after completing a 14-day quarantine, according to his manager Raman Shiwakoti. Lamichhane has recently recovered from Corona Virus, as he tested positive just as he was preparing to join the national team's closed camp training. Meanwhile, the BBL kicked off today with Lamichhane's team playing the inaugural match. Hurricanes defeated Sidney Sixers by 16 runs.
