Arancha González calls on DPM Mahara

Kathmandu - Geneva-based International Trade Centre (ITC) Executive Director Arancha González paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara at the latter's office in Singh Durbar, Thursday. 

During the meeting, discussions on various issues including economic diplomacy and multifaceted trade promotion were discussed. On the occasion, DPM Mahara urged ITC to play more positive roles in promoting export of Nepali goods. He added that all should focus on economic prosperity through economic diplomacy. 

DPM Mahara further shared that nation will move forward on the way to prosperity after completion of all levels of elections. 

In response, Arancha González said that Nepal should focus on branding and trading the Nepali goods as it has immense possibility of economic development and trade promotion. She further stressed on huge production of Nepali goods by maintaining its quality as they had attractive markets in the international arena. 

Executive Director González further stressed for adopting the economic diplomacy rather traditional diplomacy for the economic prosperity of Nepal.
