PM Deuba and RPP-D chair Rana discuss political development
Kathmandu - Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba held discussion about the latest political developments with RPP-D President Pashupati Shumsher JB Rana on Tuesday.
During the meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar, matters relating to easing the atmosphere for implementation of the constitution by maintaining political stability in the country and the possibility of an electoral alliance among democratic parties were discussed, according to RPP-D spokesperson Rajendra Gurung.
On the occasion, RPP-D President Rana suggested Prime Minister Deuba, who is also President of the Nepali Congress party, to unite democratic forces as many as possible under the leadership of NC.
It may be noted that Prime Minister and NC President Deuba has been holding consultations with various political party leaders in an effort to build a democratic alliance in response to the leftist alliance initiated by the CPN-UML and CPN-MC parties.
