42-year-old man succumbs to COVID-19

Kathmandu - A 42-year-old male died of coronavirus at the Lumbini State Hospital, Butwal today. He was admitted to the hospital three days ago, the hospital said, confirming his death this morning.

He had serious lung problems on the arrival at hospital and was given the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) treatment, hospital spokesperson Dr Bishnu Gautam said.

His first COVID-19 test report came negative, but was found contracting the virus in the second test. Presently, there are two infected persons in the State Hospital and 29 in the Corona Special Hospital.
