COVID-19: 38 new cases in State no. 1

Kathmandu - A total of 38 people were confirmed positive to Corona Virus in State no. 1 on Friday. Of them, 28 are from Jhapa and five each from Morang and Udayapur districts, according to the Ministry of Social Development.

In Jhapa, 14 are from Mechinagar, three from Haldibari and eight including two women from Arjundhara, one woman from Birtamod, and two including one woman from Kankai municipality. Likewise, in Morang, three are from Biratnagar, one each from Belbari and Budhiganga while five of Belaka municipality in Udayapur were found infected with the virus.

With the latest addition, the total number of infected in the State has reached 653. Likewise, on Friday, six people recovered and return home from isolation centres. This includes four of Morang and two of Sunsari. Those who have recovered from the virus has reached 406 in the State.
