Tourists honoured on World Tourism Day

Pokhara - Foreign tourists arriving Pokhara via flights this morning received warm welcome on the occasion of the 38th World Tourism Day. 

In coordination of the Pokhara Tourism Council, representatives from different 13 tourism organisations reached Pokhara Airport along with music band and wreath to welcome tourists landing via Yati Airlines flight. 

The Restaurant and Bar Association of Nepal (REBAN) is set to organise a mini street fest from local Barahi Chowk to Fishtail Gate this evening in honour of both domestic and foreign tourists in the town, the Association said. 

Likewise, TAN Pokhara has arranged visits of tourists arriving the town via air route today to all eight lakes inside the Pokhara-Lekhnath Metropolis, according to its Chair Hari Bhujel. 

Likewise, tourism entrepreneurs here honoured domestic tourists making their entry to the today on the occasion of World Tourism Day. Though tourism entrepreneurs here became unable to organise a formal ceremony to honour their guests from due to the Dashain schedule , they received their guests on their own, as stated by Bhujel. 

Tourism entrepreneurs and hoteliers here were busy with offering hospitality to their guest since early morning.
 
Presently, 100 foreign tourists on average enter the district.
