Fulpati feu-de-joie at Tundikhel (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu - A Fulpati celebration was organized at the Army Pavilion, Tundikhel today on the occasion of the great festival of Nepalis, the Bada Dashain festival. 

The Fulpati feu-de-joie was performed in the presence of President Bidya Devi Bhandari. The Nepalese Army soldiers opened celebratory rifle and canon fire on the occasion. They also presented a march-past. 

Likewise, the Army's special celebrations squad presented the 'honour offering' display and the various companies presented celebratory march-past and other displays. They also formed into the shape of the national flag. 

Acting Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar, the Deputy Prime Minister, ministers, government high-ranking officers, chiefs and representatives of the diplomatic missions based in Nepal, the chiefs of the security bodies and representatives from various professions and trades were present on the occasion. 

The Nepalese Army presented a guard of honour to the President before the start of the celebrations.
