Legislation committee directs govt to determine vulnerable zone of COVID-19

Kathmandu - The legislation management committee under the National Assembly (NA) has given two-point suggestion to the government. The meeting of the committee held today suggested the government determining the safe, risky and vulnerable zones in view of COVID-19 outbreak and manage the agricultural products of the farmers.

The committee has sent a letter of direction to the High Level Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, asking it to adopt preventive measures and let farmers involve in agriculture during the lockdown period. The committee has further urged for ensuring farmers' access to market, said committee secretary Manoj Kumar Giri.
