PM's health stable

Kathmandu–Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's health condition is stable, according to doctors involved in his treatment. The Prime Minister underwent surgery for the removal of his appendix earlier today at the Maharajgunj-based Manmohan Cardiothoracic, Vascular and Transplant Centre.

Centre's executive director Prof Dr Uttam Krishna Shrestha through a press statement informed the Prime Minister is presently under the constant medical observation with all arrangements for intensive treatment. His treatment was conducted through 'laparotomy and appendectomy' procedures.

The Prime Minister visited the Centre this morning for his regular health checkup. During the checkup, he was diagnosed with appendicitis and stomach infection.

Prof Dr Arun Sayami, Prof Dr Ramesh Singh Bhandari and Dr Dibya Singh among others are involved in his treatment.
