Education minister calls on his Qatari and Malaysian counterparts

Kathmandu–Minister for Education Girirajmani Pokharel called on his Qatari and Malaysian counterparts on the sidelines of the 'World Innovation Summit for Education' underway in Qatar.

In a meeting between Education Minister Pokharel and his Malaysian counterpart Dr Maszlee bin Malik, matters related to collaboration in the areas of higher education and technical education of Nepal were discussed.

Likewise, Minister Pokharel and Qatari Education Minister Dr Mohammad Abdul Wahed discussed the possible areas for educational partnership between the two countries, informed Minster Pokharel's personal secretary Binod Neupane.

On the occasion, the Qatar government has pledged to open technical institute in Nepal.
