Silgadhi-Jhingrana road construction in full swing

Doti–The construction of Silgadhi-Jhingrana road – linking the main tourism destination of far-west is gaining momentum. The tourism destination lies in the shortest distance from Silgadhi, Doti.

The construction and blacktopping of road from Silgadhi to Jhigrana via Okhabot has been expedited with the appropriation of budget from Sudurpaschim state government.

Ram Chandra Khatry, chief of Infrastructure Development Office Dadeldhura, said the construction is taking place after awarding the contract of Rs 400 million to blacktop 15.6-km road linking Khaptad.

"The blacktopping would be completed soon", he said, adding the Chdndra and Basanta Construction is assigned to blacktop Silgadhi-Jhingrana and Rajendra and PS JV is working on Silgadhi-Mellek road section.
