Dahal and Bhattarai agree to contest in upcoming polls using same election symbol

KATHMANDU, Aug 14: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Chairman of Nepal Samajbadi Party have agreed to contest in the upcoming general election using the same election symbol.
A meeting of the two chairmen held earlier this morning at Khumaltar took the decision to this effect.
The parties have yet to make an official decision regarding the decision.
The two parties will also have the same election manifesto.
