Home Minister Khand directs authorities to investigate Sagarmatha Oxygen Plant explosion

KATHMANDU, April 20: Minister for Home Affairs, Bal Krishna Khand has directed the authorities concerned to conduct an investigation over the explosion of Lalitpur-based Sagarmatha Oxygen Plant.

One person was killed and five other sustained injuries in the explosion that took place on Thursday morning. 

Minister Khand on phone calls directed Secretary at the Home Ministry Tek Narayan Pandey, Chief District Officer of Lalitpur Ganashyam Upadhya, SSP of Metropolitan Police Range, Lalitpur Yaga Bindo Pokharel and Chief of Armed Police Force of the district Bikash Ghimire to initiate an investigation over the incident.

Likewise, Minister Khand has also directed authorities to arrange treatments for those injured in the incident.
