Breaking: Accused of Sankhuwasabha murder case arrested, suspect confesses his crime

KATHMANDU, September 11: A suspect arrested on the charge of murdering six people in Sankhuwasabha district has confessed his crime. 

The arrestee has been identified as Lok Bahadur Karki, a relative of deceased people.

The accused of gruesome murders is from the same village, a police source told Ratopati. “The arrestee has confessed to his crime to the team of Central Bureau of Investigation mobilized for investigation.”

Earlier on Monday, Tej Bahadur Karki along with his five family members were murdered and found dead near their houses.

A suspect was earlier arrested and has now confessed that he was involved in the murder. However, details of the arrest have not been made public yet. 

Personal conflict seems to have triggered the crime, according to police.
