Hindu state would be established through street movement: RPP Chair

Urlabari– Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) chair Kamal Thapa has asserted that Hindu state would be restored through street movement.

The RPP chair said this while addressing a programme at Urlabari of Morang district this morning. The programme was organised as part of the RPP's 'Mechi Mahakali National Dignity Campaign'.
"The Hindu state would be established through street protests as our party does not have majority in the parliament," he said.

Stating that his party has submitted a memorandum of 22 demands to the Prime Minister calling for reestablishing Nepal as a Hindu state, organising a referendum on federalism, he warned of nation-wide protests from March 15 if the government failed to fulfill the demands within March 14.

He also demanded that the government should investigate the assets of the people occupying public posts since 1991 through an independent probe commission and also book the culprits in the wide-body aircraft scam and the Ncell tax evasion scam.

The Mechi Mahakali National Dignity March that started from Taplejung on Wednesday will reach Biratnagar today.
