Baglung and East Rukum Connected by New Road

Baglung. Travel between Baglung and East Rukum has become easier after the two districts were connected by a direct road network. The Dhorpatan-Taksera road came into operation after the track of the road was connected in the Manimarfes area of Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality of Rukum East via Nisel Dhor of Baglung on Falgun 16. The road construction work, which had been stopped for a long time in the Dhorpatan area, which is Nepal's only hunting reserve, was completed after obtaining permission from the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve Office. With the operation of the road, it has become easier for the locals of Nisikhola Rural Municipality, Dhorpatan Municipality of Baglung and Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality of Rukum East for commuting and transporting daily necessities. Dhorpatan local Khumbahadur Bishwakarma said that the difficulties of the journey of many years have ended with the operation of the road.
