Kanchanpur Journalist Khem Bhandari Arrested for Contempt of Court

Dhangadhi. Kanchanpur journalist Khem Bhandari has been arrested. The District Police Office Kanchanpur arrested Bhandari on Thursday for the execution of the court's verdict.

According to the District Police Office Kanchanpur's spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tek Bahadur Rawat, a case related to defamation had reached the court against Bhandari. The court had sentenced him to one month and seven days imprisonment and a fine in this case.

DSP Rawat informed that Bhandari was arrested in the process of executing the court's verdict. According to the police, the arrested Bhandari will be taken to jail to execute the court's verdict after completing the necessary legal procedures.
