Prachanda: National Sovereignty Weakened Since Bhadra 24

Kathmandu. Coordinator of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the country's national sovereignty has been weakening since last Bhadra 24.

Speaking at the 'Communist Movement of Nepal and People's Leader Madan Bhandari' program organized at the National Assembly Hall on Sunday on the occasion of the 75th birth anniversary of People's Leader Madan Bhandari and the 'Madan Bhandari National Award Presentation Ceremony', Prachanda said so.

Stating that counter-revolutionary steps have been increasing since Bhadra 24, he said, 'Reactionaries from all over the world are trying to eradicate the influence of the communist movement from Nepal.'

'In this situation, we must unite and cooperate with the leftists as soon as possible in favor of national independence and against autocracy without delay', Prachanda said, 'Delaying cooperation can lead to accidents.'

Prachanda said that he is ready to review past weaknesses and that all leaders must be ready for it to face the challenges facing the nation together.

'Let's not delay this, everyone should create an environment from their own place', Prachanda said.
