Kathmandu. With the objective of providing a fully online visa service for the first time in Nepal, 'globalvisaservice.com' has been formally brought into operation. 

The digital platform was unveiled at a special ceremony held at Hotel Lo Mustang in Thamel, Kathmandu. It was inaugurated on May 8 as part of the "Wings Under Forty" program organized by Travel Magazine for young tourism entrepreneurs.

This platform, promoted by Ventures Holidays Pvt. Ltd., aims to make the complex and time-consuming visa process faced by Nepali travelers easy, secure, and digital. According to Sujan Panta, the company's Chief Executive Officer, Nepali travelers will now be able to obtain information and apply for visas to more than 180 countries worldwide using a single login. The platform will also provide real-time updates of each stage of the application process.

A key feature of this platform is the arrangement that allows users to make payments easily in Nepali Rupees. The company claims that the compulsion of having a dollar card for visa applications to many countries will be removed as payments can be made through eSewa, Connect IPS, and domestic and international debit or credit cards. This system will solve problems such as hassle, long queues, and incomplete information seen in traditional processes, and will provide document verification, pre-checking, appointment booking, and expert consultation services from one place.

It is believed that the possibility of application rejection will be reduced as a team of experienced visa specialists will assist in the application process and document preparation. Not only individual travelers but also Nepali travel agencies will benefit from this service. The company has stated that the compulsion for agencies to operate a separate visa desk will end, and the quality of service will also improve.
