Two- thirds majority should be protected: leader Pokharel

Itahari – Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) leader and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Ishwar Pokharel, has said that the party had a great responsibly to protect the two-thirds majority as such message was delivered in South Asia. 


Speaking in a programme organized by the CPN Sunsari district chapter here today, leader Pokharel said so. 
DPM Pokharel further said that ending corruption was a first priority of the incumbent government. 


He also claimed that party secretariat would settle unresolved disputes within the party. Leaders and cadres of Rastriya Prajatantra Party and other various political parties who defected and joined Communist Party of Nepal were welcomed. 


UML's lawmaker Bhim Acharya also spoke in the programme.
