Prachanda to visit Rupandehi today

Butwal, March 11 — Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', the Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister, is set to visit Rupandehi today.

Throughout the day, Chairman Prachanda will participate in various events, including the foundation stone-laying ceremony of historical and religious sites and the closing of sports competitions.

According to Chairman Prachanda’s schedule, at 11 AM on the 28th of Falgun (March 12), he will lay the foundation stone for the Ramjanaki Jamuhani Pokhara Tal Park located in Omsatiya Rural Municipality-6, Rupandehi district.

This park, which holds religious and historical significance, is expected to promote tourism.

Following this, Chairman Prachanda will inspect the Jyotinagar landslide area in coordination with the Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City.

In the afternoon, he will address the national conference of the Magar National Liberation Front at the Butwal Traffic Chowk.
