Missing motorcyclist's body recovered from Trishuli river

Kathmandu, February 23 — The body of Rohit Rana, who went missing after his motorcycle plunged into the Trishuli river in Ichhakamna Municipality-5 of Chitwan, has been recovered 10 days later.
The body was discovered by Armed Police Force (APF) divers on Sunday. He was serving in the Indian Army.
The motorcycle, with the registration number BA 06-02 PA 9204, had met with an accident on the morning of Falgun 2 (February 14), while heading from Narayangadh towards Muglin.
After the accident, APF divers had been continuously deployed for the search of Rana, who had gone missing in the river.
According to APF spokesperson Sailendra Thapa, the divers, under the command of Inspector Bhul Bahadur Thapa from the Disaster Management Training School in Kurintar, successfully found the body on Sunday morning.
Rana was traveling from his home in Chitwan to Kathmandu when the accident occurred.
