Rider missing after motorcycle falls into Trishuli river

Kathmandu, February 14 — A motorcycle rider went missing after the motorcycle collided with a divider and plunged into the Trishuli River on the Narayangadh-Kathmandu road section.

The incident occurred at 11:55 AM on Friday at Chattane Bhir (Kalikhola) in Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-5, Chitwan.

The motorcycle with the registration number Baghmati Province 06-02-Pa 9204, traveling from Narayangadh towards Mugling, went missing.

The missing rider has been identified as Rohit Rana, originally from Lamjung and residing in Bharatpur, Chitwan, according to the police.

Following the accident, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF)’s diving team found the motorcycle, but the search for the rider continues, informed DSP Gyan Kumar Mahato of the Chitwan District Police Office.
