Teachers stage sit-in at UML headquarters (photos)

Kathmandu, March 12 — The Nepal Teachers' Federation has continued with its second phase of protests, staging sit-ins at the headquarters of political parties.

Today, they staged a sit-in at the CPN (UML) central office in Chyasal. Yesterday they had staged a sit-in at the Nepali Congress headquarters in Sanepa.

Having completed the first phase of their movement on Falgun 24 (March 8), the Federation announced the second phase starting from Falgun 27 (March 11), which will continue until Chaitra 5 (March 18), with sit-ins planned at the central offices of major political parties.
