Joint meeting of NC Parliamentary Party and Ministers held at Deuba’s residence
Kathmandu, January 16 — A joint meeting of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party and ministers is currently underway at the residence of party president Sher Bahadur Deuba in Budhanilkantha.
During the meeting, ministers are briefing on the work accomplished through their respective ministries. Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary informed that by 11 AM, briefings from three ministries had already been completed.
In the meeting, President Deuba and senior party leaders provided directions on strategies and plans to make government actions more effective.
“Detailed information about the ministries handled by the Nepali Congress is being shared. The discussion is now focused on what actions to take next and how to proceed effectively,” Minister Chaudhary said. “The goal is to ensure that the two-thirds alliance government serves the people in line with its spirit.”
According to Chaudhary, General Secretary Gagan Thapa also provided an update on the recent ordinances issued by the government.
Along with two state ministers, ten Nepali Congress ministers are part of the federal government. During the briefings, several ministers acknowledged that they have not been able to implement their plans as expected.
