Congress ministers reflect on challenges in Oli government

Kathmandu,January 16 — Ministers from the Nepali Congress, who are part of the KP Sharma Oli-led government, have acknowledged that they have not been able to carry out their duties as planned and have faced ongoing challenges.

During the ongoing meeting of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party's Working Committee at President Deuba's residence in Budhanilkantha, the ministers briefed the committee on the work happening within their respective ministries.

Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary, speaking to the media after the meeting, stated that ministers are providing detailed updates on their ministries, including the work completed, achievements, and plans to enhance the effectiveness of their departments in the future.

Chaudhary also mentioned that while the ministers had approached their work with clear intentions, they had encountered some difficulties along the way. He added that the party leaders have been discussing possible solutions to address these issues.

“It doesn't seem like there’s a major obstacle, but we’ve noticed that some things are not progressing as quickly as they should,” he said. “However, our leaders are continuously suggesting ways to resolve these challenges.”
