NRB Governor Adhikari receives 4.5 million rupees in allowances in a year
Kathmandu, November 20 — Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Maha Prasad Adhikari, has received a total of 4.497 million rupees in allowances and other benefits in one year.
According to the bank's annual report for the fiscal year 2023/24, the Governor received a salary of 1.632 million rupees in one year. In addition, he received 333,000 rupees as meeting allowances from the board of directors.
Nepal Rastra Bank's board of directors include the Governor, Deputy Governor, Secretary of Finance, and three other members.
In the last fiscal year, Deputy Governor Dr. Nilam Dhungana Timsina received a salary of 1.46 million rupees. The report also mentions that she received 297,000 rupees as meeting allowances.
Deputy Governor Bam Bahadur Mishra, on the other hand, received 4.07 million rupees in other allowances and benefits. He received a salary of 1.46 million rupees and 315,000 rupees as meeting allowances.
